You have probably heard that eyelash extensions can eliminate the need for eye makeup. The thickness and fullness of extensions applied by Tranquility Lashes will make you look and feel gorgeous day and night.

For most individuals, eyelash extensions will last up to two months. The growth and shedding process of your natural lashes will cause the extensions to fall off gradually.

Much like acrylic nails, eyelash extensions can last indefinitely with regular refills. Refresh appointments are scheduled every two to three weeks, although some clients may only schedule once every four weeks. Refresh appointments take just 60 minutes and are relatively inexpensive.

Depending on the service selected, the initial application of your eyelash extensions will take 1–3 hours. Our most popular service takes two hours. Refresh applications are completed in as little as 60 minutes.

Not at Tranquility Lashes™. Lash strips, clusters, and "individuals" sold at drug stores and bargain establishments will damage your natural lashes since they inevitably tear out lashes during application, growth, and/or removal.

An expert eyelash stylist will assess the condition and sturdiness of your natural lashes and apply lashes best suited for you. This helps prevent breakage of your mature lashes.

Eyelash extensions applied by inexperienced or poorly trained eyelash stylists may damage your natural lashes, especially new growth, if they are not applied one-to-one: one lash extension to one natural lash. Being able to do this properly takes great practice, attention to detail, and dedication to excellence.

No, your natural lashes exist at different stages of maturity at any given time. Your natural eyelashes are like fruit on a tree; they fall off when they're mature, but there are others still in the growth process that may not fall out for weeks or months. Your expert eyelash stylist will apply extensions to lashes of varying maturity to help ensure you look fantastic now and in the future.

No. In fact, our clients enjoy the regenerative nature of the application process. This is a time for you to relax and de-stress in our calming, peaceful environment. The process is so comfortable, relaxing, and pain-free that many sleep through the majority of their application.

Tranquility Lashes™ uses true, individual eyelash extensions. Depending on the place of attachment along the eye line, an extension of appropriate length, thickness, and curl is selected, dipped in a tiny amount of surgical grade adhesive, and attached near the base of one natural eyelash. The extensions are applied to the lash, not the skin, in order to achieve the best look without risking complications arising from attachment to the eyelid.

Absolutely. Of course, one of the greatest benefits of eyelash extensions is eliminating the need for mascara on a daily basis. Eye shadows and eyeliners are perfectly fine to use. Oil-based products, particularly waterproof mascara, should be avoided as they may compromise the life of your extensions.

You may resume normal activities 24 hours after your initial application. Prolonged and excessive exposure to heat and water may lessen the life of your lashes, but will not make them fall off. Some of our regular clients are fitness and surfing enthusiasts and do not tend to lose their lashes more quickly than others.

The fastest and easiest way to book your appointment is online. If you would like to schedule by phone, please call 619.819.2522. Please be sure to note our cancellation and rescheduling policy.

If for any reason you need to reschedule, please do so at least 24 hours in advance of your appointment to avoid a $90 late cancellation/rescheduling fee.

Late arrivals will be serviced for the remainder of your allotted appointment time.

Missed appointments without prior notification will be charged 50% of their scheduled service price or $90, whichever is greater.
